TEACHER RECOGNITIONS PROGRAM


The selection of the Teacher of the Month will be based on exceptional performance demonstrated throughout the month. The following criteria serve as guidelines to help teachers position themselves for consideration:


  1. Teaching Excellence: Evaluation of your proficiency in delivering engaging and effective lessons, including subject mastery, innovative teaching methods, and the ability to motivate and involve students.
  2. Student Achievement: Assessment of student progress, academic performance, grade improvements, test scores, and overall scholastic development.
  3. Classroom Management: Demonstrated skill in maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment, encompassing discipline techniques and the establishment of an inclusive, respectful classroom atmosphere.
  4. Professional Development: Dedication to personal professional growth, such as engagement in workshops, conferences, continuous education, and other endeavors enhancing teaching abilities.
  5. Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues through mentorship, cooperation, and contributions to the school community.
  6. Student and Parent Feedback: Consideration of feedback from students and parents regarding your influence, with positive testimonials offering valuable insights into your effectiveness and relationships.
  7. Extracurricular Involvement: Participation in extracurricular activities, which may involve coaching sports, advising clubs, organizing school events, and other contributions beyond standard classroom duties.
  8. Innovation and Creativity: Implementation of innovative and creative teaching strategies, integration of technology, project-based learning, and other contemporary educational methodologies.
  9. Dedication and Passion: Demonstrated commitment to the teaching profession, reflecting enthusiasm, energy, and a steadfast dedication to positively impacting students' lives.
  10. Overall Impact: Evaluation of your overall influence on the school community, including your role in nurturing a positive school culture, supporting colleagues, and upholding the institution's mission and values.


Teachers will undergo evaluation by their respective academic coordinators, with the final decision for recognition resting with the Head of the Institution, based on feedback from the academic coordinators.


For further clarification, kindly contact your Principal. If you observe any bias in the evaluation process, please report it to the Head of the Institution with relevant documentation.


Teachers should be aware that this evaluation may serve as a performance metric for the end-of-year performance assessment and could influence the subsequent appraisal cycle in determining the applicable overall increment.

STUDENT RECOGNITION PROGRAM


The selection of the Teacher of the Month will be based on exceptional performance demonstrated by the students throughout the month. The following criteria serve as guidelines to help teachers evaluate the students:


  1. Academic Performance: Consistently high grades and improvement in subjects.
  2. Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance without unexcused absences.
  3. Participation: Active involvement in class discussions, group work, and extracurricular activities.
  4. Behavior: Demonstrating respectful and cooperative behavior towards peers and teachers.
  5. Homework Completion: Timely and thorough completion of assignments and projects.
  6. Leadership: Taking initiative in leading projects, helping others, and setting a good example.
  7. Citizenship: Involvement in community service, school events, and helping to create a positive school environment.
  8. Creativity: Demonstrating innovative thinking and creativity in problem-solving and projects.
  9. Effort and Improvement: Showing consistent effort and noticeable improvement in various areas.
  10. Respect for School Rules: Adhering to school policies and encouraging others to do the same.


Please ensure that you follow the below guidelines while evaluating the students.

  • Be Fair: Ensure that your evaluation is just and impartial. Assess each student based on their merits and contributions without favoritism.
  • Avoid Bias: Guard against any personal biases that may cloud your judgment. Focus on objective criteria and evidence rather than personal preferences or opinions.
  • Maintain Clarity: Clearly outline the criteria and standards being used for the evaluation. This helps in making the assessment process transparent and understandable.
  • Use Consistent Metrics: Apply the same set of evaluation metrics to all students to ensure a uniform assessment process.
  • Gather Comprehensive Data: Collect input from various sources such as subject teacher feedback, peer reviews, and classroom observations to form a well-rounded view of each student's performance.
  • Document Evidence: If possible, keep a record of specific examples and instances that demonstrate the student's learning excellence and impact on his/her/peers lives. It can be in the form of videos, pictures or document.


The teacher is required to choose five students for evaluation monthly, ensuring that no student is selected two months in a row. The selection process should entail assessing and identifying the top five students based on the specified criteria for evaluation.


Please reach out to your principal in case you need any further assistance in the evaluation process.


Students need to undergo evaluation by their respective class teachers only, with the final decision for recognition resting with the Head of the Institution.

PARENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM


Once the parent ambassador is selected, the below document can be shared with the parent for an one-on-one interview session with our team. For this ​session, the parent needs to be well dressed and come to the school for an interview.
